Almost Forgot...

I almost forgot to mention the newest member of our family...

Meet Sir Thomas...

Making a "craft"

My supervisor (and wonderful friend) from work gave me this magnet...

...It made me laugh because I am SO NOT crafty, yet I am surrounded by the most creative people every day (at work and outside of work)...

So this is MY claim to craftiness for a while... :)

Every day battle...

I like to be on time...it's just who I am...
...Before I got married, I was at least 10 minutes early for every appointment, engagement, commitment that I had...

...once I got married I settled for arriving 5 minutes early or barely on time...

THEN I had kids...
...now, I'm chronically late...
...FOR EVERYTHING...
...and amazingly enough, I'm ok with it :)

But I saw this on Facebook and HAD to post it...I could relate ALL too well...

Why is it that when you HAVE to be on time, like REALLY HAVE to be on time to something, one of four things happen whenever you try to put your child into the car seat...

They become:

...Or maybe these are just every day occurrences...

...It's a wonder we make it anywhere...

Baby Boy "Zeus"

I've been having high blood pressure during this pregnancy...(among other things...)
(I know some of you are thinking, "You? High blood pressure? Miss Type A? Shocking!)
...So I've been having follow-up ultrasounds to make sure the little guy is growing...
...This is one of my favorites...
...Couldn't quite get his face....he was too wiggly!

Falling in love with this little guy already!

"Leading with Lollipops"

While working for Canyons, I have had the wonderful opportunity to view several TED talks, and in consequence, I have become a HUGE fan.

The talk below has become quite my favorite because it has A LOT of applicability outside of my job as a teacher specialist...

The little things that we can do everyday that make us "leaders"

It's 6 minutes long, but well worth the view!!

I have had three "lollipop" moments (that stand out to me) and, unfortunately, have not taken the time to tell those people what an impact they had on me in that one little moment...

It's my goal to tell the two people (I have no idea who the 3rd person is) about the "lollipop moments" before the year is up...

Do you have a "lollipop moment?"
